Blätt­chen & Part­ner advi­ses the manage­ment of Halex Hol­ding on the sale to Ben­cis Capi­tal

Munich, March 9, 2018 — H2 Equi­ty Part­ners (“H2”) has sold Halex Hol­ding GmbH and its sub­si­dia­ries (“Halex”) to Ben­cis Capi­tal Part­ners (“Ben­cis”).

Halex was foun­ded in 1990 and is now a Ger­man indus­tri­al group with two busi­ness divi­si­ons. The com­pa­ny is one of Euro­pe’s lea­ding manu­fac­tu­r­ers of alu­mi­ni­um extru­si­on dies and ser­vice pro­vi­ders for metal finis­hing by heat tre­at­ment and har­dening tech­ni­ques. Halex has 12 loca­ti­ons in Ger­ma­ny, Ita­ly, the Net­her­lands and Roma­nia and now employs around 460 peo­p­le.

H2 Equi­ty Part­ners, foun­ded in 1991, is an inde­pen­dent pri­va­te equi­ty firm based in the Net­her­lands. H2 spe­cia­li­zes in invest­ments in medi­um-sized com­pa­nies in the Bene­lux, Ger­ma­ny and the UK.

Ben­cis is an inde­pen­dent invest­ment com­pa­ny foun­ded in 1999 with offices in Ams­ter­dam, Brussels/Diegem and Düs­sel­dorf. The invest­ment focus is on com­pa­nies in Ger­ma­ny, the Net­her­lands and Bel­gi­um with an ope­ra­ting pro­fit of up to 50 mil­li­on euros.
