Munich, March 9, 2018 — H2 Equity Partners (“H2”) has sold Halex Holding GmbH and its subsidiaries (“Halex”) to Bencis Capital Partners (“Bencis”).
Halex was founded in 1990 and is now a German industrial group with two business divisions. The company is one of Europe’s leading manufacturers of aluminium extrusion dies and service providers for metal finishing by heat treatment and hardening techniques. Halex has 12 locations in Germany, Italy, the Netherlands and Romania and now employs around 460 people.
H2 Equity Partners, founded in 1991, is an independent private equity firm based in the Netherlands. H2 specializes in investments in medium-sized companies in the Benelux, Germany and the UK.
Bencis is an independent investment company founded in 1999 with offices in Amsterdam, Brussels/Diegem and Düsseldorf. The investment focus is on companies in Germany, the Netherlands and Belgium with an operating profit of up to 50 million euros.
