Blätt­chen & Part­ner advi­ses Hani­el on the acqui­si­ti­on of ROVEMA on manage­ment par­ti­ci­pa­ti­on

Munich, Novem­ber 3, 2017 — The cor­po­ra­te finan­ce spe­cia­list Blätt­chen & Part­ner advi­sed Franz Hani­el & Cie. GmbH on the suc­cessful acqui­si­ti­on of ROVEMA.

Franz Hani­el & Cie. GmbH (Hani­el) signed a con­tract for the com­ple­te acqui­si­ti­on of ROVEMA on Octo­ber 24, 2017. The sel­lers are the Ger­man finan­cial inves­tors Equi­ta GmbH & Co. Hol­ding KGaA and Equi­ta GmbH & Co. CoVe­st KGaA (“HQ Equi­ta”) and the mana­ging part­ner Tho­mas Becker. The par­ties have agreed not to dis­c­lo­se the purcha­se pri­ce and fur­ther details of the con­trac­tu­al arran­ge­ments. The tran­sac­tion is still sub­ject to the appr­oval of the rele­vant anti­trust aut­ho­ri­ties.
ROVEMA is a lea­ding com­pa­ny for the deve­lo­p­ment, pro­duc­tion, main­ten­an­ce and moder­niza­ti­on of pack­a­ging machi­nes and sys­tems. The ran­ge of ser­vices includes deve­lo­p­ment, con­s­truc­tion, con­sul­ting and pro­ject plan­ning up to instal­la­ti­on and accep­tance as well as gene­ral over­haul of used pack­a­ging machi­nes and other ser­vices. The com­pa­ny curr­ent­ly has 600 employees and, in addi­ti­on to its head­quar­ters and pro­duc­tion faci­li­ties in Fernwald/Hesse, has loca­ti­ons in Euro­pe, the USA and Asia and is acti­ve in over 50 count­ries.
