Munich, November 3, 2017 — The corporate finance specialist Blättchen & Partner advised Franz Haniel & Cie. GmbH on the successful acquisition of ROVEMA.
Franz Haniel & Cie. GmbH (Haniel) signed a contract for the complete acquisition of ROVEMA on October 24, 2017. The sellers are the German financial investors Equita GmbH & Co. Holding KGaA and Equita GmbH & Co. CoVest KGaA (“HQ Equita”) and the managing partner Thomas Becker. The parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price and further details of the contractual arrangements. The transaction is still subject to the approval of the relevant antitrust authorities.
ROVEMA is a leading company for the development, production, maintenance and modernization of packaging machines and systems. The range of services includes development, construction, consulting and project planning up to installation and acceptance as well as general overhaul of used packaging machines and other services.
